Prophets | Lamentations 3 - Mercies New Every Morning

Welcome to the Being Podcast.  Today we're continuing through Season 3: Prophets!  The prophets spoke truth to God's people.  In many scenarios this is a hard truth of correction or rebuke, but much of it is a call to identity.  While these books are references of a specific message for a specific people, the beauty of scripture is that much of what they are told then are things we need to be reminded of today.  Today we'll be exploring Lamentations 3:22-25 in which the we are reminded that God's love is always present, and his mercies are new every morning.

Lamentations 3:22-24

The faithful love of the Lord never ends!
    His mercies never cease.

23 Great is his faithfulness;
    his mercies begin afresh each morning.

24 I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance;
    therefore, I will hope in him!”
